BBQ Regal Salmon w Miso & Sesame Glaze
Ingredients
- 6 Regal King Salmon portions
- 1/2 cup white miso paste
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- flaky sea salt
- black pepper
- cooking oil
Garnish:
- sesame seeds, toasted
- chilli, finely chopped
- spring onion, finely chopped
Method
- Pre-heat the BBQ on high with a flat grill plate, or pre-heat the oven to 200°C.
- In a small bowl, add the miso, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil. Whisk until combined.
- Season the salmon portions with flaky sea salt and black pepper, then brush liberal amounts of the glaze over the salmon.
- Lightly oil the BBQ grill plate, place the salmon portions on top and close the lid. Alternatively, place the salmon on a lightly oiled baking tray and cook in the preheated oven. Cook for 8-10 minutes depending on the portion size.
- Garnish with the toasted sesame seeds, fresh chilli and spring onion.
