Upside Down Regal Hot Smoked Salmon Pastry
- 5 Tbsp olive oil
- 5 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 red onion, finely sliced
- 2 Tbsp sea salt
- 2 Tbsp cracked pepper
- 100g Regal Hot Smoked Salmon
- 100g brie cheese wheel or creamy blue cheese, diced
- 200g puff pastry, sheets
- 1 egg, beaten
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees on bake.
Place a square of baking paper on a tray, and drizzle 10 roughly one teaspoon spots of olive oil and balsamic oil on the paper.
Place a finely sliced ring of red onion on the oil spots and crack pepper and salt atop.
Add a chunk of Regal Hot Smoked King salmon, a slice of brie or blue cheese.
Place a square slice of puff pastry atop all of the ingredients, press down the corners with a fork and wash over with egg.
Cook in the oven for around 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with a sauce of your choice, we would suggest a chunky tomato chutney and enjoy!
